What is the maximum number of guests you can cook for and serve?
Because home-kitchens are not really designed for professional use the number of dinner guests should be limited to a maximum of 15. I’m happy to prepare and serve food for up to 10 guests, but any more will require additional staff (See above for pricing details)
I can handle up to 20 guests on my own if your event is a finger food buffet. or a dinner buffet, anything over that will require additional staff too.
Where do you cook?
I do most of all the food preparation in your home, During our initial consultation I will take note of which utensils you have and decide which extra equipment I need to bring with me. You only need to provide the oven, refrigerator and freezer.
A dishwasher would be very welcome!
Do I need to be home when you’re cooking for me?
No, but I will need access to your kitchen. You can be absolutely confident that I will respect your privacy and will handle all information with confidentiality.
How much time will you need in my kitchen?
Typically about 3 to 4 hours before the first course is served.
How long will you stay?
Until the last course is served and your kitchen clean and tidy.
Can you provide silverware, glassware and linen?
Yes. I can arrange for waiting staff and dinnerware for an additional fee.
I only have a small kitchen, can I still have a cooking demonstration party?
I would need to see your kitchen to determine if your set-up is suitable.
To make it work, I need enough room to prepare the food and for your guests to be able to see what I’m doing when I’m cooking.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for a 50% deposit with your order to cover the cost of the groceries and secure the date. If you cancel more than 2 weeks prior to your cooking date you will receive 75% refund of your deposit, otherwise your deposit will be forfeited.
